About Error Detection
Error detection requires finding faults in sentence structure, grammar, usage, spelling or punctuation and identifying the correction. The work draws on agreement, tense, pronoun reference, articles, prepositions, modifiers and parallel structure, so the incorrect part must be judged within the complete sentence rather than in isolation.
