What we own
© 2026 TestUstad. All rights reserved.
The following are original work, protected by copyright, and are the part of this site that took the effort:
- Every written explanation. These are written for TestUstad and exist almost nowhere else in this market. They are the clearest thing on the site that is ours.
- The questions we author, and the wording, options and distractors of each.
- The structure of the bank: the subject and chapter taxonomy, the tagging, the difficulty grading and the selection of what belongs to which exam.
- The site itself: its design, copy, software and the TestUstad name and logo.
What we do not claim
Facts are not copyrightable, and neither is a syllabus. We do not claim ownership of the underlying facts a question tests, of any exam name, or of any past paper published by the body that conducted it. Exam names and marks belong to their conducting bodies. Where a question comes from a publicly released past paper, the paper is theirs; our explanation of it is ours.
What you may do
- Read, practise and study, as much as you like, free, without an account.
- Take handwritten or typed notes for your own preparation.
- Share a link to any page, anywhere, with anyone. We would rather you sent the link than the screenshot.
- Quote a short extract, such as a single question and its explanation, in an article, review or classroom discussion, with clear credit to TestUstad and a link back to the page.
What you may not do
- Copy the bank in bulk, by any method: scraping, crawling, a headless browser, a browser extension, an AI agent, or copying page after page by hand.
- Republish our questions or explanations on another site, app, channel, group, PDF, guide book or printed notes, whether or not you credit us, and whether or not you charge.
- Harvest the bank to build a competing product, a dataset for resale, or a machine learning training set. This is about wholesale extraction, not about being read: search engines and AI assistants are welcome to crawl our public pages and quote us to a student who asked, so long as they credit and link back.
- Redistribute anything from a paid exam pack to anyone who has not bought it.
- Present our explanations as your own work.
These restrictions are part of the terms of use, and they are enforced. Where we find our explanations republished, we send a takedown notice to the site, its host and to Google.
Asking for permission
Teachers, academies and publishers do sometimes have a good reason to use more than a short extract, and we would usually rather say yes with conditions than find out later. Write to support@testustad.com and say what you want to use, where it will appear, for how long, and whether money is involved.
Reporting content that infringes your rights
We do not knowingly publish anyone else's copyrighted material. Our question bank is written and reviewed by us rather than lifted from competitor sites. If you believe something here infringes your copyright, tell us and we will look at it promptly, and remove it while we do if the claim is credible.
Send the following to support@testustad.com, with "Copyright" in the subject:
- the URL of the exact page, and enough detail to identify the material on it;
- a description of the work you say it infringes, and where your original can be seen;
- your name, postal address, email address and phone number;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them;
- your signature, physical or electronic.
If we remove something and you believe that was a mistake, write to the same address with the URL and your reasons, and we will review it.
Reporting our content on someone else's site
If you have seen our explanations reposted somewhere, we would like to know. A URL sent to support@testustad.com is enough. You do not need to do anything else.
