What is the NTS paper pattern?
NTS is 100 MCQs in 120 minutes, about 72 seconds a question. There is no negative marking. The marks are split across 4 subjects, led by English at 30 MCQs.
Which subjects are in the NTS paper?
English (30 MCQs), Mathematics (30 MCQs), Analytical and Logical Reasoning (20 MCQs) and General Knowledge (20 MCQs), 100 in total. Start with English: a weak chapter there costs more marks than a weak chapter anywhere else on the NTS paper.

NTS has no negative marking, so practise answering every question, including the ones you have to guess. In the final weeks, sit timed mixed tests at the real pace of about 72 seconds a question.
