Language Tests: frequently asked questions
Which English test is the easiest?
None is easier in the English it requires; they differ in format. PTE is computer-marked and fast, IELTS has a face-to-face speaking test, TOEFL is academic and American in style, OET uses healthcare tasks, and Duolingo is short and taken at home. The right one is the one your university, employer or regulator accepts that suits how you perform.
IELTS Academic or General Training?
Academic for university admission and most professional registration; General Training for work and migration applications that ask for it. Listening and Speaking are the same in both; Reading and Writing differ.
