What actually happens at ISSB over the four days?
ISSB is a four-day residential assessment, not an exam. Day one screens you out or in, then two days of psychological tests, group tasks and an interview feed a final conference that recommends or does not. Here is each day, each test, and what the assessors are looking for.

PAF is 100 MCQs in 120 minutes, about 72 seconds a question. There is no negative marking. The marks are split across 7 subjects, led by English at 20 MCQs.
Which subjects are in the PAF paper?
English (20 MCQs), Mathematics (20 MCQs), General Knowledge (20 MCQs), Verbal Intelligence (12 MCQs), Non-Verbal Intelligence (8 MCQs), Pakistan Studies (10 MCQs) and Islamic Studies (10 MCQs), 100 in total. Start with English: a weak chapter there costs more marks than a weak chapter anywhere else on the PAF paper.
