Asked in PMC Practice Test 14 (2021) 2021

Which one of the following have four sides?

Correct answer: B. Square

  • A. Triangle
  • B. Square
  • C. Circle
  • D. Right triangle

Explanation

A "triangle" has 3 sides as "tri" is in the name which means 3. A right-angled "triangle" also has 3 sides. A "circle" has no sides as a side requires two distinct end-points joined by a straight line. For a "circle", this will never be the case. A "square" has 4 corners hence it has 4 sides.
