Fairly easy

The first figure changes into the second by a rule. Which figure does the third change into by the same rule?

Correct answer: A. Half-shaded triangle pointing right at middle left; hexagon at top right

?
  • A. Half-shaded triangle pointing right at middle left; hexagon at top right
  • B. Half-shaded triangle pointing down at middle left; hexagon at top right
  • C. Solid triangle pointing right at middle left; hexagon at top right
  • D. Half-shaded triangle pointing right at middle right; hexagon at top right

Explanation

The semicircle and arrow remain in place from A to B, but each turns 90 degrees clockwise. The triangle and hexagon in C therefore turn in place by the same amount. Option A shows both rotations correctly.
