Very hard

A row has 60 people. Farah is 13th from the left. Ghani is 8 places right of Farah, Hina is 5 places left of Ghani, and Imran is 7 places right of Hina. Javed is 4 places left of Imran, and Kamal is 6 places right of Javed. What is Kamal's position from the right?

Correct answer: C. 36th

  • A. 34th
  • B. 35th
  • C. 36th
  • D. 37th

Explanation

The successive positions are 13, 21, 16, 23, 19, and 25 from the left. Kamal is therefore 60 minus 25 plus 1, or 36th from the right.

About Logical Problems

Logical problems present several conditions about people, objects, events or choices and require their possible arrangements to be tested. They cover constraint-based reasoning, rankings, matching, grouping, scheduling and elimination, with attention to the difference between a complete solution and a possibility that merely satisfies one condition.
